Vikki Purton

Vikki trained at The London School of Musical Theatre from where she graduated in 2007. In 2011 Vikki had the privilege to work at ‘Stage Door Manor Performing Arts School’ in New York, USA, choreographing 3 full-scale musicals in 9 weeks and was Associate Director for the charity performance of ‘The Wedding Singer’ at the Palace Theatre, Westcliff in 2014
Professional performing Credits include: Stinkerbell and Fairy Grandmother in the premiere of ‘It’s Behind You!’ (Union theatre, London) Sarah ‘The Pajama Game’ (Union theatre, London) ‘Another Kind Of Magic, Queen in Symphony’ (Scandinavian Arena tour) Female vocalist ‘Summer Spectacular’ (Pier theatre, Bournemouth) Devon in new musical ‘Fabula’ (Cochrane theatre, London) ‘Christmas in New York’ (Apollo theatre, London) Lt Flare ‘The Kosmic Krew’ (UK tour) ‘Notre Dame de Paris’ (Zurich, Switzerland) and for many years pantomimes across the country.
Directing work includes: ‘Fiddler On The Roof’ (Palace Theatre, Westcliff) & ‘Guys & Dolls’ (Palace Theatre, Westcliff) both for BasOp.
Choreographic work includes: ‘Sweet Charity’ (Palace Theatre, Westcliff) ‘Spring Awakening’ and ‘Our House’ (Mirren studio, Basildon) ‘Notre Dame’ (Towngate theatre, Basildon) ‘Red Hot and Jazz’ (Questors theatre, Ealing) ‘New York New York’ (UK tour) ‘Oliver’, ‘Half A Sixpence’ and ‘West Side Story’ (Towngate theatre, Basildon) ‘The Recognition of Sakuntala’ (Union theatre, London) ‘Oklahoma!’ (Broadway theatre, Catford)
In her spare time (when not running around after her 2 year old son) she runs her own successful cake decorating business ‘Forever Cupcakes’. Vikki is very lucky to be able to share her passion for theatre with her wonderful husband Mathew, who is very supportive and grounds her in her moments of madness. She also has 2 wonderful stepdaughters Rosi (15) and Olivia (10) and handsome son Joseph (2).
