Patrick Tucker

Patrick Trained at London’s Guildhall School of Music & Drama.  Patrick has played over 100 leading roles ranging from Don Jose in “Carmen” to Kipps in “Half a Sixpence”, in operas, operettas, musicals and concerts with societies in London and the South East. Having spent most of his life as an actor/singer he has also, for some years now, worked as a vocal coach and Musical Director of shows and concerts. On stage some of his favourite roles have included Kipps (Half a Sixpence – twice), Harold Hill (Music Man – 3 times), Dolittle (My Fair Lady), Browning (Robert & Elizabeth), Don Jose (Carmen) and King Arthur (Camelot) to name but a few! At Chelmsford Civic Theatre, Queens Theatre, Hornchurch and Basildon’s Towngate Theatre, he has been Musical Director of many shows for CAODS, BOS, Stageability/Essex Group and Tomorrow’s Talent including Les Miserables ( four times), Jesus Christ Superstar, Beauty & the Beast, Chess, West Side Story, Miss Saigon, Titanic, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Witches of Eastwick and one of the very first amateur productions of Phantom of the Opera. He has also devised and been MD for 14 concerts of current West End and Broadway Hits at the Civic Theatre, Chelmsford and the Queens Theatre, Hornchurch. He is delighted to be working with BasOp for the first time as MD for Fiddler on the Roof 2017.
