Alex Kersley

Alex started performing from a very young age going to weekly singing, dancing and acting classes at The Dawn Wenn Stage School. Alex started out his professional career in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium when he was 9 years old. He also appeared on the UK tour of Joseph And His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Whistle Down The Wind. His love for musical theatre grew and grew over the years landing lead roles in all of his school productions of which some include, We Will Rock You, Hairspray, Disco Inferno and Little Shop Of Horrors.

Alex currently works for the Ambulance Service and continues to progress in his goal to become a Paramedic. Alex joined BasOp over two years ago now and has loved every single minute! His first show with Basop was Guys And Dolls playing one of the Crapshooters, and most recently played Mendel the Rabbi’s son in Fiddler On The Roof. Alex’s favourite part of Fiddler was the Bottle Dance!

He Continues to take regular trips into the West End to see shows and also supports local groups in all their shows. “Here’s to many more happy years at BasOp!”
