John Spriggs

John has been performing with BasOp since 1965.  His roles include, Alfie Dolittle from ‘My Fair Lady’, Orpheus in the Underworld, Francis Fryer in ‘Calamity Jane’, Bill Sykes in ‘Oliver’ plus a great number of Gilbert and Sullivan parts; Koko from ‘The Mikado’, Jack Point from ‘Yeoman of the Guard, Giuseppe from ‘Gondoliers’, Mountararat from ‘Iolanthe, the Major General in ‘Pirates of Pen- zance’ and Max Detweiller ‘the Sound of Music’ at the wonderful Palace Theatre.
