Michael Plant

Michael has been treading the boards with BasOp for over a decade! Michael has enjoyed being a part of BasOp and loves how friendly, welcoming & fun the group continues to be. He even met his partner Fiona through the society and they have been in many shows together and recently welcomed their first child together whom we are sure will be a future BasOp member.
Michael has enjoyed being part of the ensemble in shows like Oliver, Broadway & Pirates of Penzance but also taking on lead roles in Jekyll & Hyde & Annie then in 2015 playing Charity’s love interest Oscar Lindquist in the Societies production of ‘Sweet Charity’ To quote our illustrious Director, Michael had the ‘nerdy, neurotic, tax accountant look’ that he was looking for when casting the role. When not AmDramming Michael can be seen typing away on his writing. He has launched his book ‘Death of A Nation’, which can be purchased through Amazon or at your local book store.
